I was recently asked to participate in a 21 day challenge for mom bloggers who would like to make changes in their fitness, nutrition, and / or weight. It sounded like a great way to jump-start myself back into healthy eating and bring fitness back into my routine so I agreed to start with the team February 1st. That day is today!
So the challenge is based on points-not for weight loss-but for healthy habits. You get points for good things like drinking water and working out, and loose them for doing bad things like skipping breakfast and drinking soda. We take before & after photos, measurements, and blog along the way. We are also striving to accomplish a goal that we have set for ourselves. In the end, whoever has the most points wins!
What will they win? Well since were all bloggers, it's publicity. Whoever wins will get promoted by Dustin. My main focus for these 21 days is going to be accomplishing my personal goal. I'd love to win, but helping myself get back to healthy habits comes first. What is my goal, and what are the goals of the other bloggers? Well you'll have to read the comments to find out. :)
Feeling a little left out? No worries! Dustin will be starting another 21 day challenge as soon as were done so you can do it too!
If your in the program too, leave your blog link HERE
I'm participating. :) http://lovehatefitness.net
ReplyDeleteI haven't decided on my goals yet.. I think the ones I have set are too easy.
I am in this challenge too :) My goal for the next 21 days is to not binge eat and lose 8 to 10 pounds. I am a recovering food addict, so the whole no binge eating thing is going to be a challenging goal, but one that I am sure I can attain!
ReplyDeleteI left my link on the linky, but wanted to add it to my comment www.melissa-j-austin.com :)
DeleteMy goal is to lose 5 lbs. As soon as I have my post up I will link up.
ReplyDelete(Brittany H) My goal is to have 3 meals & 3 snacks a day with at least 8 grams of protein in each. I'd also like to make my 5-6 daily servings of veggies. My overall goal of the 21 day challenge is to meet those daily goals each day at least 90% of the time. I'm hoping I can eventually get back up to my prepregnancy weight of 120 lbs.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I'm participating in this too. My issue was that after I had my son last year, I suffered a knee injury that put a slump in my fitness. Definitely need to get back into a good workout routine!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work :)
